Beth Anderson

Beth Anderson is the first Chief Innovation Officer for the City of Burlington, VT. She joined the City in June 2015, and is responsible for: developing and implementing a data-driven innovation strategy for the City; leading efforts to establish a continuous improvement program across all City departments; and transforming IT to be a partner to the City departments. Prior, she was Director of Operations at Vermont Oxford Network, where she was responsible for designing programs and processes to enable the organization to best serve its members and achieve its mission.
Prior to moving to Vermont, she held positions in financial services, which included serving as Vice President of eCommerce at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Job Manager at Oliver Wyman. She received an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA from Colgate University. She is a board member at BTV Ignite and the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS), and works with Girls on the Run Vermont.
